bunofsteel Arch Echo play with precision of Prog Metal but have a element of fun about their music. Parts of this album were released over a number of years and yet it is a very cohesive album.

They tried a few different things this album which included vocals which was a great choice.

My favourite is Gold Dust because they build the song around a great riff that builds up with each introduction. The pay off is just perfect. Not many bands can pull something like this off. Favorite track: Gold Dust.

em6568 Arch Echo can do no wrong and this album is no exception. Seen them live twice, it's an experience you don't want to miss. The atmosphere and technical skill of this album is right on par with their other releases. The guitar tone is angelic and everything flows together with ease Favorite track: Aluminosity (feat. This release will feature the amazing talents of guest artists Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Anthony Vincent (10-Second Songs), and Adrián Terrazas-González (The Mars Volta, T.R.A.M). Additionally, the title track will also be our first ever to have vocals and lyrics!

I came to Plini via Mike Dawes "Push" single. I can't say enough good things about this album. The expansive feel and choice of instrumentation, the playful development of the tracks and the nods to other musicians (Zappa in the first solo of Glass Bead Game, for example) make this a magnificently coherent whole. The production somehow has an '80s feel, especially in the way the bright sounds stand out. Every time I listen I hear something new. Highly recommended. quentinsghost
